Going to Yogyakarta City, Indonesia can be a great idea for those who want to experience both cultural and nature attraction in one city.   • Visiting Prambanan Temple: this temple is one of Yogyakarta temples that serves like the Eiffel Tower for Paris: a must-see tourist attraction of Yogyakarta. This temple is one of UNESCO World Heritages Site that consists of 240 smaller temples. The temple was built in 9th century in respect to 3 major Hindu deities, the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu), and the Destroyer (Shiwa). It is suggested to visit this temple in early morning or near sunset because the weather can be pretty hot at noon and you do not want to get sunburn.
  • Visiting Ullen Sentalu Museum: this museum is claimed to be the best museum in Indonesia by National Geographic. This museum offers the knowledge of Javanese culture and history starting from Mataram Kingdom in 8th Century. There will be a tour guide that will explain about each collections. Taking pictures are prohibited to protect the collection from piracy, but there are several spots where you can take a picture. You can also buy Yogyakarta souvenirs in this museum.
  • Visiting Jomblang Cave: formed more than thousands years ago when 300 meters land fell in a sinkhole, you can experience the feeling of visiting Jurassic Park in this cave. The main vegetation of this cave is formed by various plants, such as large trees, weeds, ferns, and mushrooms. These plants have been preserved for more than hundreds years and remain untouched by human. This cave will give you a thrilling experience once you go down 80 meters below the entrance of the cave. The smell of old trees and the sun rays entering from several opening will create a magnificent scenery that make you feel like you are out of this world.
  • Going to Timang Beach: this Yogyakarta beach is situated approximately 35 km at the south part of Wonosari. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of waves crashing against the cliffs and coral stones. If you want to pump up your adrenaline, you can try to ride a cable cart that will bring to Watu Panjang Island, a small island separated from the main island. This cable cart is created from mere fabric rope, which surely give you a thrilling experience. It was originally used as a transportation for local fishermen to search for lobsters, but become popular among tourists who love adventures.

Yogyakarta still has a lot of tourist attractions other than the ones mentioned above. It is impossible to explore everything in short vacation.
